TRIP stakeholder workshop - Future of Urban Mobility

TRIP is inviting interested stakeholders to a free Urban Mobility workshop in Brussels on 17 November.

Event delegates will be given a preview of TRIP’s Urban Mobility Theme Analysis Report before discussing the report’s recommendations and its relationship with EU policy.

"This is an important workshop for the European Commission. Participants will have the opportunity to learn and validate the findings of the TRIP Urban Mobility Analysis Report, and discuss future needs and prospects for urban mobility and innovation in Europe."

Dimitris Vartis, DG MOVE

The event is aimed at senior researchers and consultants, policy makers, city planners and other stakeholders with an interest in the future of urban mobility.

Places are limited, if you are interested in attending the event, please download this registration form and return it to transport-research@ricardo.com. Further information is available here.

Urban mobility projects

To mark the forthcoming TRIP stakeholder workshop, we have featured a selection of funding programmes and projects from the Portal that are particularly significant to urban mobility.

It is important that TRIP reflects your needs and interests to ensure it continues to be a valuable hub for transport research and innovation. As part of this, we have launched a short second user survey to better understand how you use the portal and what you value most about it.

Please take a few minutes to provide us with your views. The survey will close on 8 November.

Take the survey

The Aerodays 2015 conference starts next week on 20 October in London. Members of the TRIP team will be in attendance on Tuesday 20 October on the European Commission's stand (booth 3/12). Stop by our stand to see our aviation research summary reports.

Before the conference, watch our video 'Aviation - A Greener Sky', which looks at FP7 and the need for sustainable development within aviation to reduce its impact on the environment.
