Security workshop roundup

TRIP's 4th thematic workshop on transport security took place in Brussels last week. The event was a great success with a strong turnout. European stakeholders in the area of transport security discussed the outcomes of TRIP's study of research and innovation projects, and provided feedback on the study's conclusions. Participants heard about progress in a number of fields including cyber security, threat detection, and cargo and passenger security. Following the feedback received at the workshop, the draft Research Theme Analysis Report that was presented will now be updated and is expected to be published in early 2017.
